Saisha Nandamuri

Saisha Nandamuri is a dedicated Clinical Research Assistant at UC San Diego Shiley Eye Institute, with additional roles including Director of Spirit and Athletics at Associated Students of UC San Diego and Research Scholar at UC San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science. Saisha has extensive research experience, serving as a Dermatology Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco, contributing to projects on pediatric pharmacokinetics at the Savic lab, and studying Stat 2 protein at the Krogan Lab as a high school research assistant. Saisha has also participated in curriculum development for a tobacco toolkit at Stanford University and works on initiatives to combat tobacco use as a Youth Advisory Board Member. As the founder and lead for an independent project at Kaiser Permanente, Saisha focuses on reusable isolation gowns, while also co-chairing the Kaiser Teen Advisory Council to enhance the teen-care experience. Currently pursuing a degree in Human Biology at UC San Diego, Saisha graduated from Foothill High School with a focus on Biology.
