Syed Ali is an Orthopaedic Surgery Resident at the University of California, San Francisco since 2020. Currently, Syed serves as an NIH T32 Fellow at the Institute for Global Orthopaedics & Traumatology for the 2023-2024 term. Previous experience includes roles as an International Clinical Research Fellow with the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation from 2018 to 2019, and as a Clinical Research Fellow at both Harvard Catalyst | The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center (2013-2014) and Cleveland Clinic (2010-2012). Syed Ali holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from UMass Chan Medical School and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Washington and Lee University.
