Trenton Peters-Clarke

Trenton Peters-Clarke, PhD, is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, San Francisco, starting in October 2023. Previously, Trenton served as a PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from June 2018 to August 2023. A background in analytical chemistry was gained as an analytical chemist at USG in early 2018. Trenton's research experience includes roles as a McNair Scholar at the University of Oregon, working under Dr. Victoria DeRose and Dr. Kenneth Prehoda in inorganic chemistry labs from September 2015 to June 2017, and as a protein biochemist at MedImmune, where Trenton developed new technologies for antibody discovery and drug advancement for membrane-bound proteins. Additional experience includes a stint as a phytopathology researcher at Bayer Crop Science and earlier roles mentoring children as a camp counselor and conducting undergraduate research in the David Tyler Chemistry Lab at the University of Oregon. Trenton holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon.
