Erin Baum currently serves as the Associate Director of Advocacy and Institutional Relations at the University of California Office of the President, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this, Erin Baum dedicated over 16 years to the California State Assembly, achieving various titles including Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, Capitol Director, and Assembly Fellow. The Assembly Fellowship program is recognized as one of the best public policy fellowships in the country. Erin Baum also gained early experience as an intern at the California Energy Commission, focusing on environmental policy and data organization concerning the Clean Water Act. Erin Baum holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Chico.
