Rhodri Dierst-Davies, PhD, MPH, serves as the Director and Health Equity Lead for the California HIV/AIDS Research Program at the University of California Office of the President since September 2022. Prior to this role, Dierst-Davies worked as a Specialist Leader at Deloitte Consulting from December 2015 to September 2022 and as an Epidemiologist for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health between January 2009 and November 2015. Dierst-Davies began a career in research as a Research Study Coordinator at Friends Research Institute, Inc., and has held various positions in research and public health, including roles at the University of California, San Francisco, and Gilead Sciences. Educationally, Dierst-Davies earned a PhD in Community Health Sciences and an MPH in Epidemiology from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, and a BS in Human Physiology from San Francisco State University.
