Christopher Town

Christopher Town is a distinguished academic and entrepreneur with a strong background in computer science. Currently serving as a Bye Fellow and Director of Studies at Jesus College Cambridge since August 2022, as well as a Senior Research Fellow and Director of Studies at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge since October 2005, Christopher has made significant contributions to the field. Additionally, as a co-founder of Imense Ltd. since May 2004, Christopher has combined academic research with practical applications. Previously, Christopher held the position of Industrial Fellow with the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 from October 2001 to October 2004, where engagement with AT&T Labs Research facilitated PhD research at Cambridge University. Christopher's academic credentials include a PhD in Computer Science obtained from the University of Cambridge in 2005 and a BA/MA in the same field from the same institution in 2000.
