Kayla-Jade Butkow

Kayla-Jade Butkow is a dedicated researcher and PhD candidate in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge, specializing in wearable technology for health. With a strong academic background, Kayla-Jade holds an MRes in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand. Professional experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Decorte Future Industries Ltd, a research intern at Nokia Bell Labs, and various teaching positions at the University of the Witwatersrand. Notably, Kayla-Jade has also contributed to application and web development during an internship at Fluidity Software Solutions and has been an active member of the Golden Key International Honour Society.
