Poppy Szaybo

Poppy Szaybo is an experienced professional in education, community engagement, and inclusion, currently serving as the Education, Community Engagement & Inclusion Manager at the University of Cambridge since September 2023. As the Director and Co-Founder of the Museums and Participation Network since May 2017, Poppy has also provided coaching and mentoring through Poppy Szaybo Coaching & Mentoring since June 2019. Previous roles include Senior Inclusion and Diversity Advisor at Historic England, and a lengthy tenure at the British Council specializing in the arts, culture, heritage, and migration. Poppy has authored publications and directed significant projects focusing on displacement and integration in Europe and diaspora cultures. With a strong academic background in contemporary crafts and community engagement from various prestigious institutions, Poppy Szaybo has made substantial contributions to community initiatives and the arts sector.
