Tarika Khattar

Tarika Khattar is currently a PhD student at the University of Cambridge, researching History from September 2022 to September 2025. Previously, Tarika was the Founder of Makery from May 2020 to July 2022, and Co-Founder of Rexo from March 2019 to April 2020. Tarika also held multiple roles at Cinestaan Digital Pvt. Ltd., including Director of Product, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager for the Cinestaan Database between July 2015 and June 2018. Additionally, Tarika contributed as an Assistant Director for the Manto Film at Netflix in late 2015, and as Director of the show Jaane Pehchaane with Javed Akhtar at Epic Channel earlier that year. Tarika's earlier experience includes serving as a Podcast Host & Writer at Wisden India from September 2012 to September 2014, a Summer Intern in Film Acquisition at Curzon, and a Foreign Policy Intern at The Brookings Institution. Tarika earned a Master of Philosophy with Distinction in Modern South Asian Studies and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History from the University of Cambridge and the University of Chicago, respectively.
