David Denkenberger

David Denkenberger is an experienced academic and entrepreneur currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury since January 2023. As the founder of Denkenberger Inventing and Consulting since June 2006, and co-founder and director of ALLFED (Alliance to Feed the Earth in Disasters) since February 2017, David plays a significant role in addressing global challenges. Previously, David held positions as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Assistant Professor of Architectural Engineering at Tennessee State University. David's experience also includes a tenure as an Associate at the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute. David's educational background encompasses a Master's degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and a PhD in Civil Engineering from prestigious institutions including Princeton University and the University of Colorado Boulder.
