Julia Hetherington

Julia Hetherington is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in people and capability roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a People and Capability Business Partner at the University of Canterbury since September 2022, Julia previously worked as a People and Wellbeing Specialist at Best of Today, focusing on enhancing wellbeing and resilience. From August 2016 to October 2021, Julia was a People and Capability Consultant at Decipher Group Limited, providing strategic HR consulting and implementing performance review frameworks. Julia's early career includes significant roles at Imperial College London as an HR Adviser and Senior HR Administrator, where recruitment and selection processes were a primary focus, as well as account management and recruitment at Ranfurly Recruitment. Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Canterbury.
