Kathryn MacCallum currently serves as the Head of School Leadership and Professional Practice and Associate Professor in Digital Education Futures at the University of Canterbury since January 2020. In addition, Kathryn holds the position of President at the International Association of Mobile Learning (IAmLearn) since October 2021. Previous roles include Associate Professor and Postgraduate Coordinator of the IT Programme at the Eastern Institute of Technology from 2009 to January 2020, where Kathryn also taught various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Prior to this, Kathryn worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Auckland Institute of Studies and as a Tutor at Massey University. Early career experience includes a client representative role at Strobe Net Ltd, overseeing web development projects. Kathryn's educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mobile Learning, a National Certificate in Adult Education, and degrees in Information Systems and E-Business from Massey University.
