Bert Scott

Bert Scott is a seasoned academic in the field of theatre, currently serving as a Professor of Theatre and Director of Production at the University of Central Florida since August 2019. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate Professor, Scenic & Lighting Designer, and Assistant Professor of Theatre at the University of Central Florida from 2003 to August 2019. Bert also held the role of Assistant Professor of Theatre at the University of Michigan-Flint from 1996 to 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
