Sahan Dissanayaka

Sahan Dissanayaka is a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Central Florida, focusing on Complex Adaptive Systems and Machine Learning, supported by the ORCGS Doctoral Fellowship. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Colombo School of Computing and as a Data Science Engineer at ISA. Sahan has contributed as a Research Collaborator with The AI Team and completed a Research Internship at the University of Colombo School of Computing, where innovative approaches to time series modeling were explored. Leadership roles include Chairperson and Webmaster for the IEEE Student Branch of UCSC, as well as participation in the UCSC ACM Student Chapter. Sahan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing and has pursued further education in Java, Software Engineering, and Management Accounting.
