Janette Klein

Janette Klein serves as the Dean of the James C. Kirkpatrick Library at the University of Central Missouri, managing library collections and facilitating resource needs for faculty and students. Klein has held various roles at the University of Central Missouri including Interim University Librarian and Assistant Professor, focusing on the Harmon College of Business and related fields. Prior experience includes graduate teaching and research assistant roles at the University of North Texas, where responsibilities ranged from grading to collection assessment. A background in finance and auditing with Accor Hospitality includes roles such as General Ledger Account Manager and Internal Auditor. Klein holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management, a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Information Science, an MLIS in Library Science, a BA in History, and an AAS in Legal Assistant/Paralegal.
