Richard Puff

Richard Puff is an experienced communications professional with a focus on public relations in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine since September 2019, Richard Puff has also held the position of Assistant Vice President for Public Relations and Communications at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center since September 2004. Prior roles include Associate Director of the Medical Center News Office at Duke University Medical Center and Associate Director of Public Relations at Albany Medical Center. Richard's career began in journalism, with early experience as a Police Reporter for Utica Daily Press and a Special Projects Coordinator at Professional Insurance Agents, Inc. Richard Puff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Utica University and has further education from Utica College of Syracuse University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
