Ted Baldwin

Ted Baldwin has extensive experience in library management and information services, currently serving as Interim Head of Library Collections and Director of Science and Engineering Libraries at the University of Cincinnati since May 2004. Baldwin oversees the operations of three Science and Engineering Libraries and a rare books collection, focusing on enhancing services and resources to support academic and research needs. Past roles include leading the College of Engineering and Applied Science Library and managing the College of Applied Science Library. Prior to this, Baldwin worked at LyondellBasell Industries as Manager of the North America Polymers R&D Information Center, overseeing information research services, and held positions at Indiana University and Monsanto. Baldwin holds a Master of Library Science and a Specialist's Certificate in Chemical Information from Indiana University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree with dual majors in Chemistry and Music from DePauw University.
