Heidi Chial

Heidi Chial, Ph.D., serves as an Assistant Professor and Director of Grant Strategy and Development at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where contributions include preparing grant applications and manuscripts for the University of Colorado Alzheimer's and Cognition Center and related departments. With extensive experience in biomedical writing, editing, and consulting as President and Chief Scientific Officer of BioMed Bridge, LLC, Heidi has also held editorial roles at Nature Publishing Group and Write Science Right, alongside a technical specialist position in intellectual property law at Finnegan. Previous academic roles include research associate and postdoctoral scholar positions at Stanford University and Wake Forest University, where significant work focused on neurobiology and cancer biology. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder and multiple postdoctoral fellowships.
