Katie Dean

Katie Dean possesses extensive experience in healthcare administration and financial management, currently serving as the Vice Chair of Finance and Administration for the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus since March 2021. In this role, Katie oversees strategic, financial, and operational aspects for a department that employs nearly 200 faculty and staff, generating over $120 million in revenue. Prior to this, Katie held various positions at Children's Hospital Colorado from 2011 to 2021, including Practice Director and Practice & Operations Manager for the Orthopedics Institute. Katie's earlier roles also include managing inpatient operations for a pediatric intensive care unit and developing corporate donor relationships for a foundation. Katie holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver and a BA in Psychology from the University of Delaware.
