Leah Emerick

Leah Emerick is an experienced professional currently serving as an Operational Excellence Partner and Sr. Continuous Improvement Specialist at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, with a concurrent role as a Sr. Lean Instructor at Denver Health Lean Academy. With a background in Lean facilitation, quality improvement, and community health initiatives, Leah has held various roles within Denver Health where responsibilities included coaching, organizing improvement events, and overseeing substance abuse prevention efforts. Prior experience includes technical assistance coordination with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and perinatal research management at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Leah holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing a Master of Science in Business Management and Organization at the University of Colorado Denver, focusing on strategy and innovation, as well as leadership and change management.
