Sarah Horwitz serves as the Research Services Manager at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, overseeing pre- and post-award processes for the Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health, while also implementing new systems and improving research processes. Previously, Sarah held the position of Research Services Program Manager, managing post-award financials and compliance for a variety of federal grants. Sarah's experience includes program management at Earthwatch Institute and operations management at Three River Farmers Alliance. Sarah began a career in service as an Americorps Member with City Year and further developed skills in food justice as a Food Justice Fellow at Repair the World. Sarah holds an MBA in Social Impact, Energy and Environmental Sustainability from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community and Environmental Sociology and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
