Hillary Fanelli

Hillary Fanelli currently holds the position of Assistant Director of Residence Education at the University of Connecticut since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Area Coordinator and Interim Assistant Director of Residence Life at Penn State University from June 2019 to May 2022, and Residence Hall Director at Northern Arizona University from July 2015 to May 2019. Hillary began the professional journey with roles as an Intern at Bergen Community College and various positions at Montclair State University, including Assistant Community Director and Interim Community Director for Frank Sinatra Hall. Additional experience includes an internship at Qatar Foundation, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, focused on Housing and Residence Life/New Student Orientation, and earlier roles at the University of Scranton as Resident Staff Advisor and Resident Assistant. Hillary earned a Master of Arts in Counseling with a Concentration in Student Affairs & Higher Education from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Scranton.
