Karen Skudlarek

Karen (Pattacini) Skudlarek serves as the IT Accessibility Coordinator and Senior Educational Technologist at the University of Connecticut since October 2005, focusing on evaluating new technologies to enhance instruction with a strong emphasis on accessibility. Additionally, Karen supports faculty in improving their instructional methods through technology and leads training sessions on best practices. Prior to this role, Karen worked at Nestle as a System Administrator from April 1989 to October 2005. Karen holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology, Cognition, Instruction, and Learning Technology from the University of Connecticut (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the same institution.
