Valentina R.

Valentina R. serves as a Mentor Coach and Student Mentor at the UConn Academic Achievement Center since January 2023, guiding and training the university community. Valentina is the President and Co-Founder of Undocu-Huskies, contributing to the support of undocumented students, while also being an active member of the CLAS Women Leadership Collective at the UConn College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Since September 2020, Valentina has held the role of Social Media Intern at the University of Connecticut and has been a Board Member of the Undocumented Student Advisory Board since September 2022, focusing on internship assessments and scholarship initiatives. Additional leadership experience includes serving as President of the Project Fashion Club and having previously mentored first-year students within the Latinx community at UConn through the UCONN PRLACC program. Valentina's earlier internship experience includes a position with Yale New Haven Hospital in 2021. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Connecticut, expected to be completed in May 2024. Valentina's high school education was completed at Wilbur Cross High School in June 2020.
