Anna Katrine van Zee is a seasoned expert in natural language processing (NLP), artificial intelligence (AI), and fairness in technology. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant and PhD Candidate at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen since April 2022, Anna's research focuses on NLP and AI with an emphasis on ethical considerations. Prior experience includes heading the AI/NLP research team at Findest™, where sustainable AI solutions were developed for technology scouting, and serving as a PhD Candidate at the University of Amsterdam, concentrating on user-generated content and fairness in digital systems. Earlier roles at Google involved significant contributions to the development and multi-lingual launch of the Google Assistant. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in IT & Cognition and a PhD from the University of Amsterdam.
