Laura Dombernowsky

Laura Dombernowsky is an accomplished academic and journalist with extensive experience in China studies and political affairs. Currently serving as an Ekstern lektor at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen since August 2019, Laura also works as an Asia Correspondent for Dagbladet Information since January 2016. Laura earned a PhD in China studies from Aarhus University, with a thesis focusing on the professional standards and values in Chinese journalism, based on fieldwork conducted in Beijing and Shanghai. Prior to these roles, Laura was a Political Affairs Assistant at the Embassy of Denmark in Beijing, where research and analysis of current political trends in China took place. Laura's educational background includes a Master's degree in China Studies from Aarhus University, a Minor in Political Science from Københavns Universitet, and a high school diploma from Aarhus Katedralskole.
