Andrea Zavakos

Andrea Zavakos, PhD MBA GPHR SPHR, currently serves as Full-time Faculty at the University of Dayton's School of Business Administration, having transitioned from an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources in 2015. As the owner of Miami Valley HR Consulting, LLC, Andrea provides tailored HR consulting services. Previous leadership roles include Director of Training, Safety & Risk at the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority, and Director of HR Consulting at Brower Insurance. Additional experience includes HR positions at Reynolds and Reynolds, BARCO Graphics, Gem City Engineering, Rich Products Corporation, and ILC Data Device Corporation. Academically, Andrea holds a PhD in Leadership and Change from Antioch University, an MBA in Quality Management from Dowling College, and a BA in Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
