Donnell Wiggins has a diverse work experience in the field of college admissions and enrollment management. Currently, they are serving as a Board of Director for the National Association for College Admission Counseling, where they provide strategic decision-making support. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at the University of Dayton, including Associate Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management and Dean of Admission. Donnell also worked as a Director of Admissions at Urbana University and Director of Alumni Programming for Greater Cincinnati at the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, Donnell has experience in recruitment and outreach, having worked as an Assistant Director of Recruitment and Urban Outreach at Miami University and a Territory Manager at The Ohio State University. Earlier in their career, they served as a Recruiter at the School of Advertising Art and an Admission Counselor and Campus Visitation Coordinator at Wilberforce University. Donnell also presented at TEDxDayton in 2019.
Donnell Wiggins completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Wilberforce University. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in Higher Education Administration at Wright State University. Currently, Donnell is studying for a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Higher Education Administration at the University of Dayton, which is expected to be completed in 2025.
