Jason Deibel

Jason Deibel currently serves as the Physics Department Chair and Associate Professor at the University of Dayton since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jason Deibel spent 15 years at Wright State University, where positions included Department Chair, Associate Professor, Interim Chair, and Director of Undergraduate Research & Experiential Learning for the College of Science & Mathematics. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral research associate position at Rice University and a graduate student research assistant role at the University of Michigan's Center for Ultrafast Optical Science. Jason Deibel holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Michigan and a BA in Physics and Mathematics from Transylvania University, alongside a high school diploma from South Oldham High School.
