Joel Rosenthal

Joel Rosenthal is a distinguished academic in the field of chemistry, serving at the University of Delaware since September 2015 as Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and as a Professor. Prior roles at the university include Associate Chair of Graduate Studies and Research and Associate Professor, as well as Assistant Professor from July 2010 to 2015. Rosenthal's research foundations were established as an NIH Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from January 2007 to May 2010 under the guidance of Stephen J. Lippard. Rosenthal earned a PhD in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007 and a BS in Chemistry and Mathematics from New York University in 2001.
