LaRuth McAfee is a seasoned higher education professional with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Assistant Dean at the Graduate College of the University of Delaware since January 2020, McAfee previously held the position of Assistant Dean of Diversity, Inclusion, & Funding at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from July 2014 to December 2019. Prior to that, McAfee directed Student Engagement & Community Building at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science from August 2009 to July 2014 and was the Executive Director for Education at Case Western Reserve University's Center for Layered Polymeric Systems from August 2006 to July 2009. LaRuth McAfee earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1999 and 2005 and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999.
