Assistant Professor Of Library/archives Conservation & Associate Director Of Wudpac at University of Delaware

Melissa Tedone is an accomplished professional in the field of library and archives conservation, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Library/Archives Conservation and Associate Director of the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC) at the University of Delaware since July 2015. In this role, Melissa teaches and supervises students while advising graduate interns. Prior to this, Melissa held the position of Lab Head for Library Materials Conservation at Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library, overseeing the care of various collections. Previous experience includes roles at Iowa State University as a Library & Archives Conservator and as a Conservation Technician at the University of Texas at Austin. Melissa holds a PhD in Slavic Languages & Literature from Yale University, and a master's degree in Conservation of Library & Archival Materials from The University of Texas at Austin.
