Trish Hermance

Trish Hermance is an experienced educator and administrator, currently serving as the Senior Assistant Dean for Secondary Education at the University of Delaware since August 2023. Previously, Trish was the Director of the Delaware Teachers Institute from June 2016 to August 2023 and held the role of Executive Director at Montessori Works for a brief period in 2016. Trish’s extensive background includes positions as Regional Director and Community Resources Coordinator at Communities In Schools of Delaware and Head of School and Elementary School Teacher at Campus Community School. Additionally, Trish served as an Adjunct Professor at Wesley College from 2002 to 2005, focusing on Instructional Technology and Mathematics Methods. Educational credentials include a Master of Instruction in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
