Aaron Ray serves as the Director of Policy for the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, overseeing critical policy functions related to water, parks, wildlife, and energy among others. Previously, Aaron held the role of Assistant Director for Energy Innovation, facilitating the transition to renewable energy while addressing its impacts on wildlife and recreation. In addition to his government roles, Aaron has been an Adjunct Faculty Member at both the University of Denver and University of Colorado Denver, teaching courses in Environmental Policy and Political Science. Aaron's leadership experience includes serving as Interim Director of the Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission and Associate Director at the National Conference of State Legislatures, focusing on energy policy analysis.
