Manuela Orrego Luque is currently a Graduate Assistant and Student Clinician at the University of Denver, involved in enhancing the student experience within the MAIDP program and providing psychological support to trauma-affected individuals. As a Research Assistant, Manuela conducts qualitative research addressing disparities in disease identification and treatment among immigrant populations. Previous experience includes serving as a Bilingual Masters-Level Intern at La Cocina, where Manuela provided bilingual mental health services, and as an Early HS Homebased Home Visitor at the Association to Benefit Children, focused on family engagement. Manuela's background in clinical psychology includes internships at various organizations, including L'Oréal and consultative roles advising on childhood protection guidelines in Colombia. Currently pursuing a master's degree in International Disaster Psychology, Manuela holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
