Savannah Hobbs, PhD, MEd, RDN, serves as the Interim Director of the Center for Rural School Health & Education, Research Assistant Professor, and Director of Research and Evaluation at the University of Denver since August 2021. In addition, Savannah is a Registered Dietitian at Nourish, starting in February 2025. Previous experience includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Colorado State University, as well as internships at USDA and VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System. Savannah has a strong background in public health studies, community programming, and education, with specific expertise in maternal and child health, health promotion, and nutrition. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Human Nutrition from Colorado State University and a Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame.
