Katherine Snyder

Katherine Snyder is currently the Dean of the College of Engineering and Science at the University of Detroit Mercy. Katherine has been in this role since May of 2017, and previously served as the Interim Dean for a year. Prior to that, they were the Associate Dean for six years. Katherine has been with the University of Detroit Mercy since December of 2009.

Katherine Snyder has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Curriculum and Instruction (Mathematics & Computer Science Education) from Wayne State University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Detroit, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Detroit.

Katherine Snyder reports to Antoine M. Garibaldi, President. They work with Lisa MacDonnell - Executive Assistant to the President, Gary Erwin - AVP for Marketing & Communications, and Daniel Pitera - Dean, School of Architecture & Community Development.
