Dr. Muhammad Shahadat Hossain Siddiquee is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in economics, currently serving as a Professor at the University of Dhaka since November 2008. Previously, Dr. Siddiquee held positions as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the same institution. Prior experience includes working as an Economist at RED at BRAC from June 2004 to September 2005. Dr. Siddiquee earned a PhD in Development Economics from The University of Manchester (2014-2017), an MA in Economics of Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam (2010-2011), and both an MSS and BSS in Economics from the University of Dhaka (2000-2001 and 1995-2000, respectively). Early education includes completion of HSC in Humanities at Dhaka College (1993-1995) and SSC at Baniajan C.T. Pilot High School (1988-1993).
