Prof. Hussain al-Ahmad

Prof. Hussain Al-Ahmad, FIET, SMIEEE, C.Eng., serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Founding Dean of Engineering and IT at the University of Dubai since July 2016. Previous positions include Professor and Chair of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Program at Khalifa University from October 2009 to June 2016, and Prof. Hussain also held roles at Etisalat University College, University of Bradford, and other institutions. Al-Ahmad possesses a PhD in Signal Processing and a Master's degree in Microwave Communication Engineering from the University of Leeds, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Barsa.
