Blair H. Smith is a distinguished academic and medical professional currently serving as a Professor of Population Health Science at the University of Dundee since August 2011. In addition, Blair is the Clinical Director at the Tayside Clinical Trials Unit and works as a Consultant in Pain Medicine for NHS Tayside, focusing on chronic pain management and service improvement. Blair also held the position of National Lead Clinician for Chronic Pain with the Scottish Government from May 2014 to May 2021 and served as a General Practitioner at Peterhead Medical Practice from 2003 to 2013.
