John Schless

John Schless is an experienced leader in student services and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Student and Academic Services at the University of East Anglia since September 2024. Previously, John held the position of Head of Student Experience at the Royal College of Art, where the focus was on fostering community and belonging among students. As Chief Executive at Greenwich Students' Union, John significantly increased annual revenues while enhancing services for 21,000 students. John's earlier roles include Director of Fundraising and Development at Get Connected, where strategic fundraising initiatives were implemented, and Interim CEO during a successful merger with YouthNet. Additionally, positions as Head of Funded Projects and Senior Relationships Manager at The National Autistic Society involved managing projects and developing donor relations. John holds a BA in Music from the University of Leeds and completed A Levels at Mosslands School.
