Barry Wike

Barry Wike is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure at the University of Exeter since October 2022, overseeing the management of core production environments across Exeter campuses and cloud services partnerships. Prior roles include IT Infrastructure Director at TIP Trailer Services, where Barry established the technical vision and managed infrastructure support services, and Global Infrastructure Manager at Ashfield Healthcare Communications, leading global operations for high availability enterprise infrastructure. Barry also held positions as Operations Centre Manager at Agilisys, IT Infrastructure and Services Manager at Prinovis, Network Manager roles at Hastings Insurance Brokers and Peoples Choice Insurance Services, and began a career as a LAN Management Support Officer at IBM. Barry earned a BSc in Physics with Business Studies from De Montfort University.
