David Boughey

David Boughey is currently serving as a Professor of International Business History and Interim Deputy PVC & Dean at the University of Exeter since August 2023. Prior to this role, David held multiple positions at the University of Exeter from 2009 to August 2021, including Associate Dean (Education), Director of Student Engagement, and Associate Dean (Education). David Boughey earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economic & Business History from Royal Holloway, University of London, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Economic and Social History from the University of Oxford. Additionally, study abroad experience was completed at Washington & Jefferson College in History & Politics, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern History, Economic History & Politics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
