Nicola Sinclair

Nicola Sinclair currently serves as the Head of Access, Participation and Outreach and Director (Practice) of the Centre for Social Mobility at the University of Exeter, where the focus is on enabling students to achieve their potential through higher education. Previously, Nicola held the role of Head of Widening Participation and UK Student Recruitment, aiming to attract a diverse range of students to the university, alongside a role as Deputy Head of Marketing, responsible for strategies that enhanced student recruitment. Nicola's earlier experience includes serving as Marketing and Communications Manager for North Somerset Council, where a comprehensive communications strategy was established, and as Public Relations Manager for Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, leading PR strategies and crisis communications. Starting as Deputy Chief Reporter at Western Telegraph, Nicola has built a strong foundation in media and communications since beginning education at Commonwealth University-Lock Haven.
