Professor Hannah Sherbersky currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Association for Family Therapy and Systemic Practice since September 2022. At the University of Exeter, Professor Sherbersky has held multiple roles since August 2013, including Deputy Director of Post Graduate Taught Programmes with responsibilities in clinical training within the Health and Life Sciences Faculty, and as the Director of Systemic Portfolio, overseeing various levels of systemic training. Additionally, Professor Sherbersky is the Academic Lead for the CYP IAPT Systemic Strand, demonstrating expertise in systemic practice and leadership. As a Senior Lecturer since January 2011, Professor Sherbersky co-directs the MSc in Psychological Therapies. Furthermore, private practice as a psychotherapist and director at Changetree has been maintained since 2010. Professor Sherbersky has contributed to BBC documentaries on family therapy and served as an editorial board member for the Journal of Family Therapy. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate of Clinical Practice and an MSc in Psychological Therapies from the University of Exeter, along with a background in mental health nursing.
