Steve Voake

Steve Voake is a seasoned literary professional with extensive experience in both education and publishing. Currently serving as a Royal Literary Fellow at the University of Exeter since September 2016, Voake has also been an author for Faber and Faber and Walker Books since 2004 and 2006, respectively. In addition, Voake has directed Hornet Productions Ltd since 2005 and was a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University until September 2021. Voake's earlier career includes serving as a Headteacher at Kilmersdon Primary School from 1997 to 2005. Voake's academic background includes studies at the University of Liverpool and the University of Exeter.
