Krzysztof Bielawski

Prof. Dr Hab. Krzysztof Bielawski was born in 1961, he is a biotechnologist, specialist in molecular diagnostics of viral infections and cancer.

He is a graduate of the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences at the University of Gdańsk (the independent Faculty of Biology began operating on September 1, 2008). From the beginning of his academic career, he has been associated with the University of Gdańsk: as an assistant, assistant professor (1999-2007), associate professor (2007-2011) and full professor (since 2011). Head of the Department of Molecular Diagnostics of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology at the University of Gdańsk and the Medical University of Gdańsk, director of the Center for Technology Transfer of the University of Gdańsk.
