Esra Trepci is a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) since February 2021, focusing on advancing Zero Energy Buildings in Dubai through policy enhancement and design guidelines. Previous experience includes a role as Research Engineer at Khalifa University, where energy modeling for smart glass was conducted, as well as positions as a Sustainability Consultant at KEO International Consultants and Research Assistant at Masdar Institute for Science and Technology. Esra's career began as a Project Coordinator at the National Territorial Planning Agency and as an Architect at the Regional Directorate of National Culture in Shkoder. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Architecture with a focus on Sustainability Design from Politecnico di Torino, a Master of Science in Engineering Systems and Management from Masdar Institute for Science and Technology, participation in the ERASMUS program for Landscape Architecture at Université de Mons-Hainaut, and a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Torino.
