Stuart Edelstein

Stuart Edelstein is an esteemed Emeritus Professor at the University of Geneva since 2006, with a distinguished career that includes serving as President and Chief Scientific Officer at Scipio Bioscience from August 2017 to September 2024. Edelstein has held notable positions such as Pasteurien at the Institut Pasteur from September 1994 to September 2021 and Visiting Scientist roles at University College London and the European Bioinformatics Institute. Further contributions include serving as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University and Professeur, Chaire Internationale at the Collège de France. Edelstein was a Professor at Cornell University from 1968 to 1986. Edelstein holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley (1963-1967) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Tufts University (1959-1963).
