Thomas Maillart is an established academic and professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, research, and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Geneva Responsible Entrepreneurship Center and a Senior Researcher with the Geneva-Tsinghua Initiative at the University of Geneva since September 2016, Thomas has also held the position of President at opengeneva from September 2017 to February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Information, UC Berkeley, and ETH Zurich, focusing on mechanisms of internet evolution and cyber risk, following a PhD from ETH Zürich.
